What are Wendy and Jess’ professional credentials? Wendy and Jess are both Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. They also have M.S degrees in Nutrition, and are both Certified Diabetes Educators (a certification that requires over 900 hours in one-on-one diabetes counseling and passing of a rigorous national examination). Wendy and Jess have a combined 12 years of nutrition coaching under their belt and have helped thousands of patients improve their diet and overall health. Jess also has a certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and is trained in intuitive eating and motivational interviewing, one of the most scientifically studied successful strategies for helping people change their health behaviors. The dynamic duo are also the co-authors of the 28-Day Plant-Powered Health Reboot, which was published by Page Street Publishing in January 2017.

What is the difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Nutritionist? Registered Dietitian Nutritionists are experts in areas of food and nutrition. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or RDN is a nutritionist accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly the American Dietetic Association or ADA). A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist has completed an undergraduate (or graduate) program in nutrition and also a 1200-hour year long clinical internship program. Registered Dietitian Nutritionists must pass a national exam administered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Registered Dietitians must also maintain their registered status through continuing education and advanced degrees/certifications for areas of specialization. Examples of this might be a certification as a cardiac dietitian, nutritional support dietitian, sports nutritionist, or a certification for diabetes education. We recommend that the nutrition advice you seek be from Registered Dietitians. As Registered Dietitians, we are also trained in Medical Nutrition Therapy, which is the nutritional management of different diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders and so on.

Can’t I just find this information for free online? A lot of the nutrition information online is inaccurate. It’s also overwhelming... and it doesn’t take into account the science of behavior change. For most people, it’s hard to cut through the clutter and know the difference between the nutrition noise and what is actually science-based. So much of the nutrition information is sensationalized, touting why “X” new diet is the best thing since sliced bread. As Registered Dietitians, we are trained to sift through the science and turn it into practical nutrition recommendations that you will be able to apply to your everyday life.

Will this program help me lose weight? After years of facilitating one-on-one nutrition counseling with our patients, we have realized that it’s more important to focus on healthy habits and intuitive eating rather than weight loss. Many of our patients find that when they shift the focus on behavior change, rather than weight loss, they are more likely to achieve their health goals and stick with them. Having said that, some people may lose weight by adopting some of the healthy eating principles we recommend in this course. Others may maintain their weight and/or improve their health by lowering their blood pressure, cholesterol or blood glucose.

Will this course help me improve my health? We want to make it clear that we are not able to guarantee health outcomes after completing this program. There are many factors that affect health status, some of those are out of our control (think genetics), and some things we do have control over (think diet and lifestyle). Diet and lifestyle are considered modifiable risk factors, meaning we can modify, or change them. These are the things we will focus on in this course. Over the past several years, we have both helped people prevent diabetes, manage and control their diabetes, reduce their cholesterol, reduce their blood pressure, improve their digestive struggles, and improve their overall health.

Are there any scholarships available if I can't afford the course? At this time, we are not offering scholarships for this course because of the value we provide at an affordable price. As Registered Dietitians, we both charge $250 per hour for individual counseling sessions. If you were to meet with either of us for 6 weeks, that would be $2100 for 6 hours of 1-on-1 coaching. In this course, we offer the exact same strategies we use with our one-on-one clients for about less than ¼th of the cost -- or investment in your health, as we like to think of it.

What if I have a medical condition? In this course, we will be implementing evidenced-based strategies for helping to improve or manage the risk of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. If you have specific concerns, it’s always best to consult with your doctor.

Is there a money back guarantee? In the "Best Of" Program, we will implement strategies that have worked for our patients over the years. We’ve spent years honing down on the exact methods that ensure success with our patients. We’ve both dedicated hundreds of hours creating this course and we think you will love it as much as we do! Your satisfaction is our main priority, and so in the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. Just shoot us an email at, and within the email, include your name and date of enrollment and why you think this program is not a good fit for you.

How do I know if this course is a good fit? This is one of the most common questions we get asked. Here’s how to know: You are looking to make life-long changes to upgrade your diet and health. You are confused with all of the misinformation online and want expert advice. You want a practical approach to nutrition that doesn’t involve fads. Sound like you?
